Hell of a show this week. For the first time in a while there were two Artist Focus' this week. In the first hour we listen to a pair of tracks from The Sword's newest title Warp Riders. If you're into The Sword and dig cosmic concept albums, this is right up your alley. A full review should be out sometime this week.
In hour #2 we had a Ramones cover by multi-instrumentalist retro garage enthusiast Ty Segall and a double-shot from the new Torche album Songs for Singles. Granted, I only played about 4 1/2 minutes of fresh Torche, but you probably got the point. Songs for Singles is an 8 track 22 minute fast paced, tight, barn burner much like its predecessor Meanderthal. A full review for that album should be up sometime soon.
Well the blog has been up for about a week now and it's a lot better than the old site, which has effectively been abandoned. I will start bringing over old content for some sort of mega post in the future.
